[KIRSTIE and TREY sit at a restaurant.]
KIRSTIE: So I decided to stop eating meat, because I have too much respect for the animals.
TREY: I like animals.
Panel 2
[KIRSTIE continues.]
KIRSTIE: And so I found out all I could about those cows, you know, that they use to make meat?
TREY: I have a cat.
Panel 3
[KIRSTIE gestures dramatically.]
KIRSTIE: And then I found out that’s where leather comes from! Like my shoes!
TREY: He brings dead rats into the house and hides them.

[KIRSTIE clasps her hands.]
KIRSTIE: And then I realized, well, we’re all put here on Earth for a purpose, right?
TREY: It’s like a sick fucking Easter.
