PSX was just an abbrivation for Sony Playstation, cause PS gets confused.

Wrong again. PSX = Play Station 3.
See? One moron says PS. One moron gets PS confused. Then another moron says say PSX, its less confusing. Why cant you all just type out the word? Is it that difficult for ya'll?

No, psx is the original playstation. PS3 comes out 2005, with supposedly 1000x more powerful then ps2. I know this cause a guy who works with Sony Europe, a friend, told me.
The guy rocks too, he got my name (Jace101) into the game Primal, only a small easter egg but it still rocked! Now I just have to buy a PS2.
Also, there would be no way that Sony would release the PS3 while PS2 is still selling incredibly well.

PSX was just an abbrivation for Sony Playstation, cause PS gets confused. Nope. PSX was the user addopted abbreviation. The official one was PS. The shrunken Playstation was PSO, PlayStation One.

I'm fairly sure I saw an ad or something that said PSX meaning the original PS. I have to agree with Jace here. :)

Yep. See? We were both wrong. I thought they meant PS3, but now I know that PSX is like a ps2 only better and its a home entertainment system.
I was more correct. Nice find Tommacco and Kel.
I want it for the Tivo stuff. I NEED MY BUFFY.
And I need a PS2 anyway so I can dance. DANCE. DANCE I TELL YOU.

yeah the PSX is a new version of play station that burns. i read that...somewhere..a couple weeks ago cuz it was released in japan. i heard that they will be releasing PSX elsewhere early next year. but then again, i could be remembering wrong. damn, i need to move to japan.:P ..i hadn't heard about the PS3 though.
I talked to my ultra gaming savvy ex-neighbor (god, I don't know what I'd do without him, he works at THQ as a beta tester for the GC and is just all-around gaming genius, the fucker) and he said it sounds like the gaming system for people with too much money who know nothing about gaming.
He says it's supposed to go for ~$500. Ghey.
I think I'll just have to stick to plain ol' PS2 for now. Thank God for Christmas :D :D :D
