gamecubes da shit. i dont have many games for it but its the kind of system where u dont need many games to have fun. i still gotta finish metroid tho, the last game i bought for it was soul calibur 2
i play CS on my pc, but when that game gets boring (which it does pretty fast now) i play some SOCOM online with my ps2
i just got a GBA SP and im fallin in love with Final Fantasy Tactics all over again *starts reminiscing about FFT on the ps1*

Not neccessarily. It's often taken for granted that console games have better RPGs than PCs do, with great titles from industry giant Squaresoft, as well as other great developers. However, MUDs and other hard-core RPG games first found their home on the PC, and this influence can be seen today. The excellent Baldur's Gate series had an incredibly story, fun gameplay, and took advantage of the PC with an interface that would be almost impossible to duplicate on a console. FPS/RPG hybrid games like Deus Ex and System Shock redefined our ideas of what it means to be an RPG. The vastly popular Diablo series brought online RPG gaming and action RPGs to the forefront of PC gaming, spawning countless clones and creating a new genre.
I will admit that some games just don't play well on PCs. Fighting games are an excellent example - most fighting games just don't play well with a mouse/keyboard combination, and PC-exclusive fighting games tend to not have as high production values as fighting games released exclusively on console systems. FPS/Fighting hybrid games such as The Specialists mod for Half-Life may become more of a reality in the future, but I have yet to see any game that really brings fighting to a whole new level on the PC.
You also neglect to mention the genres of Turn-Based Strategy and Wargaming, genres that cannot be found on consoles at all. Simulation games such as Falcon 4.0 and Il Sturmuvick 2: Forgotton battles play far better on a PC than they ever would on a console, and racing games are no different.

personally, i think bringing counter strike to the xbox was one of the worst ideas ever! it will never be as good as its pc counterpart!

You know why there are both? Because they both have very good reasons to make them better in some cirumstances.
My answers are then this.
PC or Console?
Yes.
If console, which?
Depends on what you like to play. Ha!
No good answers for you!

I think you're wrong. They could improve the gameplay if they used the controls of Max Payne on Xbox.
Has anyone even made a game with the Max Payne engine? I think they should.

I think a PC with an X-Box, Playstaion 2 and GameCube installed within it would be my choice. :D
