Two words: Holy Shit.
The Matt Good concert was unbelievable tonight. No seats in the entire Congress Centre, but what the hell...who doesn't want to stand for 3 hours, right? Anyhow, here's how the songs went down:
-Pledge of Allegiance
-Long Way Down
-Near Fantastica
-Load Me Up (HUGE pop for that)
-*Some song I never heard*
-In a World Called Catastrophe
-Lullaby for a New World Order
-Avalanche
-Hello Time Bomb
-Bright End of Nowhere
-21st Century Living
-Weapon
More on this tomorrow, and some pics later on...Later.[/b]

I'm liking Matthew Good and Matthew Good Band right now... Don't have the new CD yet though, have it on request at the library (that's how I get all my CD's ;) )

I lub Matt Good...
my closeclose friend had a huge thing for him in Grade 12...*ew...I know, he looks dirty.*
but anyways, she made me listen to him all the time when we'd go drivin...
and I got hooked.
I started liking Silverchair that way as well. Not the same friend, but same method. Damndamndamn. I only like their one song, "Miss You, Love". It's so good *sigh*

Now for some funny from the concert.
First, one of the guys from the Dears mooned us all from the little sky box that the they had up top. Funny stuff.
Now for the REAL funnies. Some idiot in the "mosh pit" (it was a crappy excuse for one) threw something at Matt. And yes, it hit him. He stopped singing (the song was Bright End Of Nowhere) and started yelling at the mosh pit. You could tell he was REALLY upset, and he even went as far as to say that if 1 more thing hit him he would leave the concert. So the song started up again from the beginning.
Then when it was over, at the end of Weapon, he just walked off the stage shaking his head, looking very upset. Now, at some of the other shows their was an encore, but I knew there wasn't going to be one here...lousy "moshers".

Yeah, Matt Good seems like a temperamental guy. I still like him though. Let's beat those moshers!!

Like the bumper sticker in his Online Store used to say, "I hear Matthew Good's a real asshole."
