Onto the Fernet Branca question. It is an Italian aromatic spirit. It has a very strong taste and often replaces bitters in cocktail recipes!

Friday night I had a few Blackbushes and coke before going out. Once we were out I had a Talisker with a touch of water, before reverting to Jamesons for the rest of the night. But someone decided we should have points at one point, so in about 10 minutes, we got through a Jaffa, a Wet Pussy, a Shit on the Grass, a Tequila, and finished off with an ABC. ABCs are evil. Absinthe, Bacardi 151 and Chartreuse. Blerg.

Saturday I needed a bit of a break after the night before, so just had a single Blackbush and coke.

But yesterday was back to it and had another Blackbush before going out for Japanese for dinner where I got through a normal warm Sake followed by a bottle of cloudy Sake.
