T9 in cellphones

I was wondering if anyone here uses the feature called T9? i want to know how to add new words? thanks.

I use it all the time. In my LG and in my Motorola, the phone just picked up new words as I used them, and started to suggest them for me once I used them enough.

i like predictive text - it speeds things up, once you get the hang of it.

Yeah it's very useful, I always use it on my cellphone. Only problem is that it doesn't recognises a lot of names and some words. I found this tutorial site (www.t9.com) but not really sure if its any good...anyone here have tried it?

Your're right Threeboy. I can even add some words that T9 can't recognize so the next time i hit it..it will then display the word I need. The tutorial site is pretty helpful indeed.

I believe most mobile/cellphone models has a T9 feature. The minimum text mesages I send per day is like 20 or something that's why predictive texting is a savior for me.
