Just curious what the balance is between dialup'rs here. This is the connection you use to read TrueNuff, so likely your home connection, unless you only read us at work.

@home: 56K (or so it appears on my connection icon)... but the truth is it goes around 40 something

I have 56k at home, but I usually use the computer labs at school to read TN. I also get blazing fast connections at Spider Gaming for playing games. So I guess I get dialup, LAN, T1 and more.

High Speed Fiber Optic something or other is what my office has. At home, I have 56K (when I bring my work laptop home. When I finally buy my own 'puter, I'm going Telus High Speed.

Yes DSL rocks! Only problem is, after I graduate in the spring, and go back home... my parents use Cable Internet! My CS-playing days are numbered!!!! Well... maybe not. But if it's as spikey as the cable internet in this college town (all those mp3/porn DL's from college kids).... bye-bye CS.

ADSL connection... which kicks ass but guess what?

it has a friggin proxy - which in turn means that i cant send any files... create any servers...

it suxxxxxx and i want another ADSL connection without this stupid fucking proxy... i could shoot this little box...
