We used to have Boxing Day in South Australia, but then for some stupid reason they got rid of that holiday and created Proclimation Day instead. Holiday on the same day as Boxing Day. Why I ask? Why?

They shoulda given us an extra holiday, Christmas, Boxing, THEN Proclimation Day!!!!

Boxing Day is the day after Christmas when you offically get to take your family to task over the lame presents they gave you. So if your brother gives you a pair of rollerblades when you have no feet, it's obviously a lame present, so the day after Christmas you get to fight him and hopefully beat him up for the crap present. ie the Boxing part of the holiday name....

Please note that while being footless may be difficult and you should try to live life to the fullest despite the footlessness, I do not recommend getting in a ring and boxing with your brother.

But we here in Germany don't have something like boxing day.
The 26th of December is called 2nd Christmas-day.
And we have christmas on 24th December evening.
