Okay, Keanu may be not-so-great at acting, but I think he's awesome in this movie.
Charlize just rocks all the time.

I completely recommend this movie.

--little teaser from Nicole:
The movie starts out with Nelson (Keanu), who is a friggin work-a-holic, that doesn't care about anything but work and money. He's a complete jerk, mean to his girlfriend, everyone. He has to go get his license renewed at the DMV, not studied up on the driving-info, he tries to cheat off of Sara (Charlize) and she gets caught instead, having to leave the room.
--to make a long story short, she's mad, asks him to drive her around until she can re-write her drivers test, he apologizes, and it takes some convincing until he allows her to get a ride with him.
--Sara decides that she likes him but that he needs to be a better person, and so she asks him for a month of his time, no strings attached, just that he spends the one month with her, no work, no phones, no watches-->since he is obviously preoccupied with these things.

--I won't spoil the rest of the movie, cuz you HAVE to watch it--

A Walk to Remember and Sweet November are the only chick flicks I like...they are the exceptions to my movie rules 8)

Sounds interesting. I think I'll look for it next time I'm in the Video Shop.

There isn't many chick flicks that get my attention but WTR gave me such a warm fuzzy feeling. And I usually can't stand movies with pop singers trying to act.

Yeah, Mandy Moore actually has a bit of acting ability in her. I admit, it was very surprising. She just has this authentic sweetie-pie air about her. The chemistry between her and Shane West was good too!
And, her movie didn't go the route of 'Glitter' and 'Crossroads' -->into the abyss of suckie-movies.

--I must admit Budderfly, I didn't like ANY girlie-crap movies until Sweet November, which my best friend made me watch because she loves Keanu.
..It gave me new hope for chick flicks...It's one of my fave movies now. 8)

On a side note:Some guys actually like chick flicks but would never admit it....

i also saw harry potter haha i feel like a geek now but i probably am anyways so what the hell it was pretty cool too

Has anyone out there lost any respect for Hally Berry after X-Men? Her horrible acting and bad jokes made me cringe in terror. Much more than scraggly hairs coming out of her face.

I watched Sweet November last night with my boyfriend. It was a good movie, but the end kind of left me hanging. Yet there was a very good moral to the story.

It reminded me of WTR except the charcters are older. Still a very good movie.
The 12 presents of Christmas was sweet and I thought the two irish guys were hilarious.

Won't say much else as not to spoil the movie for others.
