Green Day - American Idiot

for those who like punk rock and pop punk, Green Day has finally come up with a new cd, American Idiot. The cd's named after their song American Idiot, and its been aired on the radio a few times and the music video has been on mtv often. it sounds really good so far and i cant wait till the album comes out (like sept. 20th or 21st). plus theyre touring like crazy, theyre coming near my place and i hope i can make it. (just go check out greenday.com for touring dates and places and to see their music videos) well i think its about time they came out with something new, and i read from somewhere that one of the reasons theyre making a new cd is because "they gotta show all the new amature bands who's boss" or something of that line, and when i read that, i was like, hell yeah. anyways, i'm really stoked, you guys?

I'm glad GD is finally coming out with a new album, i like them although i don't have any of their CDs (well, i do but they're all scratched to hell) and i really like the new song, made me laugh the first time i heard it. anywayz, good stuff.

I dunno, I kinda feel like they've gotten worse over the years. I'm not one of those people who hates bands "selling out" but in this case, it really did hurt the band's sound. I hope this album proves me wrong though.

Green Day hasn't really changed. Their songs are all distinctively similar. But I still like them.

Went to the concert they gave in Mexico City, let me encourage you to buy your tickets NOW if they're playing in your city soon. I mean it, the gig was... AWESOME.

yeah there was a concert of Green Day near my place, i couldnt go because the tickets were sold out. AND, the thing that pissed me off the most was that a neighbour kid of mine has this younger brother that bought two tickets for the concert, and his girlfriend didnt want to go, so he just threw the other ticket away.
