Just so y'all know, the comics used to be delayed because of other TrueNuff projects such as this one :P It's an adventure game, like the old LucasArts or Sierra type games, more information below, here are some screens!

TRUENUFF ADVENTURE GAME
By the TrueNuff Crew
http://www.truenuff.com

Version: TECHNOLOGY DEMO
Created: December 12, 2002

ABOUT

Created in December of 2002 for a school project, the TrueNuff adventure game was a way to fill course requirements (barely) and test the possibiltiy of a full fledged interactive TrueNuff Adventure!

This build of the game is very incomplete and merely serves as a 'technology demo' - there really isn't any point but it's fun to click around and explore.

One day we may scrape together a complete game if T-Shirt and Book sales go well, until then have fun being stuck at Brando's cabin suckas!

HOW TO PLAY

1. Download the file and un-zip it's components into a folder.

2. Run the configuration file winsetup.exe, we reccomend 640x480 (windowd or full screen) for optimum speed/detail.

3. Click around and explore, there isn't really a point yet (read above for more info.

For the love of god, I didn't think it would be this hard to get Jay drunk.

Absolutely-fucking-perfect. I soooo want this game as the style brings back sooo many memories!

Sam and Max are gone, but you COULD replace them. I would sure plug you to my fav mags and sites!

Eep, here are some hits on the control system:

The left mouse button performs actions, seeing, walking, interacting.

The right mouse button cycles through the above actions.

There is an inventory that keeps all the items you are currently holding, move the mouse cursor to the top of the screen and a contron panel pops up with the actions as well as a breifcase (inventory) click on that to access your inventory.

This was also created two years ago, I am better at drawing now and might be able to pull off close to sam-n-max'nes... That game was fucking brilliant - Sam & Max and Steve Purcell was a big inspiration to TrueNuff btw....

It's great you guys are trying it out and giving your thoughts, if we ever do begin production the TrueNuff buddies will be the official beta/bug-squasher team :D

So that's what the walking Jay was for!

I got as far as chilling the beer and taking a bottle out, but I don't know how to make him drink it =/

And why does clicking any action inside the house at the far right near the TV send Jay back to the middle of the room?

I loved those games - LSL3 "love for sail" was my favourite though! Dewmi More was absolutely brilliant!

we're actually considering doing a full swing game.

we don't want to code it ourselves (we'd rather focus on art & sound production) though and would like to employ some readers - on a profit sharing basis.

it's on the back burner though (like all our projects!), detailed details will be posted laters.

i still remember making the art for that thing, goddamn it was annoying.

I gotta get better at cartoon perspective before I bust out some of that stuff again.
