I personally don't like sport games and because of that many of the games that EA release dosen't interest me but I don't see how EA have ruined PC market.

Don't worry majin, I love the EA too.
I've been wanting the NHL for a while, but right now I only got 2003 Madden and 2004 NCAA Football (which is totally bad ass to play online)
All for PS2.

EA makes some good shit.

ok, their sports games are good, i'll give you that.

But games like battlefield and EA's general flakyness is irritating.

I hate battlefield, EA should be kissing the Desert Combat mod creators asses.

And the generals series is horrible, the way everything is so fabricated bothers me to an endless extent.

Also, EA is almost more corporate, personally I prefer companies and developers that shoot for a more community based standpoint, but EA just has corporate BS written on all of its products.

But their sports games kickass, but i hate sports games so :P

All gaming companies when they get big enough become more of a corporate institute then a gaming institute. The only company that's made it big and stayed fairly close to their true humble beginnings is id and even they've strayed pretty far nonetheless.

I have a great pc.

I dispise the medal of honor series.

that is ea's biggest fault in my opinion.

its ridiculously inaccurate to history, its a travesty.

I mean there were 6,000 soldiers on d-day! why is jimmy patterson (am i rite? about the name?) fighting the entire battle?

i was thinking about it the other day, and they have to take over the other companies, they need the support from the bigger companies to produce there game and get there game across. Plus the founders of these small companies get rich. So it only hurts if they lay off people though, which is never a good thing....

You put far too much stock in what the publishers do to create the game. The developers are the ones that actually make the game. Blame Dice for BF1942, as it isn't EA's fault that their netcode is crap.

EA does do other hurtful things. They rush development, censor material that goes into their games, and make idiotic decisions the way dumbasses in suits often do. They are a coporate machine, and they reflect the path the gaming industry is taking - a turn away from small, independant developers, and a turn towards huge publishing houses that churn out loads of crap games only to make a quick buck.
