Sydeshow, it's a remake of "Final fantasy adventure" released on the origianal gameboy platform.
Final fantasy adventure was the american version of the seiken densetsu series(bad spelling)
Seiken Densetsu - Final Fantsay Adventure GB (and now "Sword of Mana for GBA")
Seiken Densetsu II - Secret of Mana (SNES)
Seiken Densetsu III - Legend of Mana (PSX)
I wet my pants (it wasn't pee of course) when I heard about Sword of Mana though, the re-mixed graphics look fucking sweet.

Wow! I knew about the FFA stuff. Or at least that secret of Mana was the 2nd in the series.
Yet I think you're wrong on something, and also forgetting something.
Seiken Densetsu - Final Fantsay Adventure GB (and now "Sword of Mana for GBA")
Seiken Densetsu II - Secret of Mana (SNES)
Seiken Densetsu III - Legend of Mana (PSX)
Shouldn't it be like:
Seiken Densetsu - Final Fantsay Adventure GB (and now "Sword of Mana for GBA")
Seiken Densetsu II - Secret of Mana (SNES)
Seiken Densetsu III - Secret of Mana 2 (Super Famicom) (Snes)
Seiken Densetsu IV - Legend of Mana (PSX)
You have played Secret of Mana 2 correct? 6 different characters? Japanese release only? If not, I suggest snagging it. It's enjoyable to say the least.
I didn't know about Sword of Mana being a remake. Good thing I never played the original GB one. Now I have a flashy and snazzy prequel!

Hehe, it doesn't happen often with me. Although I'd for sure say I have a near unhealthy obsession.

dude yeah I totally forgot about that. I wan't them to re-release Seiken Densetsu III (secret of mana II) here.
I tend to block out memories in my head when squaresoft rips us off and doesn't translate RPG's to americaland, like bauhmont lagoon & the romancing saga series.
I will make it my goal to learn japanese and play Seiken Densetsu III (secret of mana II).

One would say that a sneeky man does not need to wait.
You could buy the japanese version, download the rom and emulator and play the 100% translated version. and it's 100% legal! :)

They've been re-worked enough. It was rather "engrish" at first, but it's good now.

I had no idea that I was missing out on Seiken Densetsu I.
Is it as good as the other two?

I can't say yet. Haven't tried.
I'm trying to keep it as far away from me as possible. As I have finals to complete. Thrusting that game into my hands is like feeding a resistant addict some crack-rocks.

Yea I got a flashy holographic post card about it.
I drew on it.
I hate the "mana" series. With all my heart.
:P eat it sydeshow.
