i went over to my friends house today to chill with him because he has mono and well i pity the fool. so i had to sit through the entire awards show. if anyone else watched this maybe you will feel the same way. it was 2 hours of horrible propoganda, it was 3 desperate ads for :
- Spike Tv
- Video Games
- "virgin" Cell phones.
the whole show was just a whole bunch of hot chicks ( I may be complaining but this is definatly alright with me) trying to read the fuckin prompter (jenna jameson). in between the hoe parade was some 50/50 comedy of David Spade. and it was alright, but what really annoyed me was how this was just a way for a few companies to take something every male (some females) love, that being video games, and turning it into a mindless ploy for sales.
in the next year or so , whenever someone sees a game that was mentioned on the VGA'S they will only remember 2 things. Tits, and Tits. now this may be sub concious but it is definatly there. Im not big into gaming anymore, i used to play CS like a Muhfucka but ive kinda grown out of it and i just think they managed to ruin the whole game experience that when you see an ad for a game you want to buy it because it looks like a fuckin awesome game, not because some tv show brainwashed you with 2 hours of crap.
