of course I've played gamecube more than Xbox, I know I am biased.

Halo is pretty good, but metroid, zelda and mario kicks it's ass, and now that I can get halo on the PC, there's no reason for me to even rent an Xbox (and I can just go over to your place when you get one :o)

i prefer XBox actually, sorry Three. of course, i haven't played Gamecube much and i've seen some pretty kick ass games on it, but the things i've played on the Box are better. plus my computer sux ass so i can't play those games any other way. :P

I'm with Threeboy on this one, gamecube kicks ass, now that nintendo finally decided to put games out for it. took them long enough, you forgot to say that mario cart kicks ass totaly. Threeboy, have you played the zelda 4 in 1 pack? it kicks too, has the first 2 zeldas, and the last 2 ones that were on the 64.

I picked Xbox. I own both, and enjoy the Gamecube's games more... Yet the online capabilities with xbox live just put the cube to shame.

I must say, I Have a PS2 , Xbox, Game Cube and I think that the Game Cube is Killer for Some games, Xbox is ok for some game's PS2 Killer in Alot of games but hmm... I've got to stick with Game Cube because ZELDA!!! man who can live with out Links ya know... also Mario Nintendo For Life Baby..

PS2 - huge library, exclusive games, awesome controller, online gaming is picking up, sony is a cool company.

gamecube - nintendo exclusives, good controller for the games on the system, online capabilities are weak for now, and nintendo is a fucking excellent company.

xbox - pc ports, and "good" online games, and Microsoft, NO ONE LIKES MICROSOFT, FURTHUREMORE JUST GET A FUCKING PC! :D

I've just always stuck with sony...not to say i dont like different games for different systems..but I just like the stuff sony puts out the most.
edit: oh yeah. as for my vote, I had to choose the gamecube..because xbox just copies shit from sony -- and gamecube has the old school titles

Almost all of the XBOX games play better on a PC, so I don't feel the need to buy what is essentially a really crappy PC to play games with worse control and graphics than the machine I already have. The GameCube, on the other hand, has awesome control, very innovative games, and hell, it's Nintendo. I'll take Nintendo over Microsoft any day.

One note - the PS2 does not compare to either of these machines. It came out earlier, and it shows - the games perform much wose, and the control system is pathetic - it's simply a more primitive system. Sony should just go back to making kickass audio devices and other bits of electronics; almost everything they have done in the gaming realm has totally and completely sucked.

Another note. When it comes to controls, I prefer a mouse and keyboard over all else, even in games that normally use a joystick. As such, my opinions concerning such matters are relatively biased. I must say though, the only gamepads I could ever tolerate have been made by Nintendo.
