Planetside anyone?

Any of you guys play planetside? It's my favorite mmorpg so far, though the only other one I've tried is sims online, and the only reason I didn't like that, was that maxis never delivered any of the stuff they promissed.

The sims online is only sort of a an mmorpg.

And don't you dare call planetside an mmorpg. Not when I'm around at least.

I swear to god, I am a patron of FFXI, and if you refer to the FILTH known as planetside as an "mmorpg" i will bring so much justice upon you.

Planetside is an MMOG. or an mmofps. But not an mmorpg.

And it's a sucky one at that.

Really. It's too complicated for an fps. It's horrible. Yuck. And the expansion sucks too.

i played the trial version of planetside, and apart from running reaaaaally slowly on my computer, and taking ages to do anything, or find any action, i thought it was a so-so game. i liked the scale of things, and spaceships and stüffe, and i took part in some huuuuuuge battles. seriously, this one attack on a base had like 300 people against around 100 in the base!
