TNTV Clumpy Videos & Video Commentary

Posted August 22, 2015 at 12:29 PM by Threeboy in TNTV

Over the last few months we've put up a few clumps of videos. A couple Stolen Star Wars (Episode I / Episode II) videos, a couple Detective Police Cops (#1 / #2) and four Special Feature Commentary videos. Not sure if we will be releasing clumps of content from here on out but we didn't see value in trickling out videos one by one so we just threw the videos out Chinese restaurant style - when they were done.

More deets after the jump...

TrueNuff TrueNuff Radio (It's a Podcast)

Posted February 20, 2015 at 3:54 PM by Threeboy in TrueNuff
Image Last weekend the TrueNuff.tv crew gathered at Jeff's apartment to recorded the "bumpers" (the intro and outro parts) for the 2014 blooper reel. Most of the dudes went home but Jeff & I decided to keep the creative energy (and drinking) going and spontaneously recorded a podcast. The first episode(s) and all future episodes will be at www.truenuffradio.com if you're interested.

Whoa dawg, check out them beats by Bitch.

TNTV TrueNuff.tv Website Updates 2015

Posted February 6, 2015 at 7:04 PM by Threeboy in TNTV
The TrueNuff.tv website has been ushered into the year 2015 and has gone, as the cool kids say, responsive. That means it optimizes for phones and them tablet thingamajiggers.

Also, you can now comment on videos directly on videos on our website. It’s the same Disqus platform that powers comments on our Blogs and Comics and it's super easy to use. Infact it's so easy to use I'm not even gonna explain how.

If you can’t figure it you probably shouldn't be commenting anyway.

Comic Bigger Comics

Posted January 27, 2015 at 1:09 AM by Threeboy in Comic
Image Considering it's the year 2015 and we're no longer in the era of dial-up (although if you check Rob's garage you'll probably find two 56k modems packed away for some reason) I figured it's time to bump up the size (resolution) of the comic strips.

Exported comics were 940 pixels wide but now they're up to a beefy 1170 pixels wide. The comics should be much clearer especially older comics where the text was hard to read. Depending on what device you read on you may need to scroll or pinch and zoom a bit. I also turned down (for what) the JPEG compression so the colors should look smoother. Adventurer be warned! With the new size comes a price: you may notice drawing quirks in the older comics but whatever it's part of the charm - don't judge. If these changes are straight up ruining your life let me know and I'll see what I can do but progress has to be made, dammit!

Also the comic isn't officially "back" or anything but if there are new comics they'll probably be posted Wednesday instead of Saturdays. If you want an easy way to be notified when we post a new comic get on the Mailing List.

If you missed it there was a couple rough sketches posted to Twitter / Facebook this past weekend.

Comic Comment on Comics!

ImageYou can now, if you’re so inclined, comment to TrueNuff Comic strips using Disqus! (the same thing that powers our blog comments) You should see a "comment" link below every comic strip that will take you to the comment section where you may profess your love for us. Uh, that got weird quick. So yeah what’s cool about Disqus is you can login using your Facebook or Twitter account saving you the hassle of creating yet another account.

New comics were posted to the site the past couple saturdays and a third comic will be up this saturday - can I keep this up this breakneck pace of once a week!?

Historical data suggests "no".

Comic 1,372 Days Later

Posted January 10, 2015 at 8:07 PM by Threeboy in Comic
Image According to Feedly it's been Over 1,300 days since the last comic was posted - ouch!

I don't know if it's reading a ton of comics lately (with Marvel Unlimited) or all the crazy news with the cartoonists in France but I had the urge to draw a new comic so I did. I'm not going to make any claims like TrueNuff Comic is "back" or anything but I had fun doing this one and I want to do more.

There's also kinda two extra new comics too... kinda... from 2011. Read the two "abandoned" comics and get more info in the Extra Content forum.

I blame Zack Snyder for the 4 year delay in comics.

TrueNuff Movember 2014 Results

Posted December 5, 2014 at 1:17 AM by Threeboy in TrueNuff
Image Well it looks like another Movember is in the books and our sinks are full of shaven mustache bits.

This year's results are as follows:

We didn't raise as much as in previous years but it's still money raised for an extremely worthy cause! Thank you all who contributed and/or spread the word.

I would like to say that new videos and comics are on the way but most of the crew is heading to Vegas for Cranston's stag.

TrueNuff Movember 2014

Image We are doing Movember again this year! If you don't know what that is it’s a charity event where people grow mustaches to raise awareness and donations for cancer & mental health research. This year from TrueNuff we have Moze, The Rob and myself participating but J.Rai is hanging up the gloves mustache this year.

Donate to or join one of our teams:

If you're growing a mo' this year we encourage you to register at the Movember page and join one of our teams above. Also you want to be a captain of an international TrueNuff team (other than USA or Canada) please let us know and we'll try to set it up. If you can’t donate for whatever reason sharing the above links with some friends is also cool.

We've managed to raise over a thousand bucks in 2012 and 2013 so let’s see if we can at least match that again this year!

Whatever you do don't grow one of these.
