Comic Oh Hai, New Comic!

Posted August 8, 2008 at 4:16 PM by Threeboy in Comic
Yeah yous read right new comic up in the hizzy. It's fitting that the last comic was about Trey dealing with his freelance misadventures because that's what friggin' happened IRLs. In the last few months I've dealt with some good clients and some... testing clients. I'm still broke and things aren't necessarily slowing down but I really wanted to get back to doing comics 'cause gosh darnit I missed doing them.

Comic Updates Whenever (Once Again)

Posted May 1, 2008 at 12:18 PM by Threeboy in Comic
ImageCue the ominous tone! We've fallen back into an "Updates Whenever" schedule.

The main culprit this time around is me. I've gotta focus on my paying work to eat and pay rent. It's getting harder to rustle up 10-12 hours a week to work on a project not earning much. I love working on the comic but reality is a cold punch to the face and this month it's a really hard punch.

Comic Retroupdate and Behind The Panels Additions

Posted April 9, 2008 at 3:14 PM by Threeboy in Comic
ImageTwo new comics were retroactively placed in the archives - an easter comic and a comic that was supposed to air on my birthday. There'll also be new comics this Thursday & Friday so check back or hop onto the Email Subscription and have them automatically sent to you through the emails.

Also enthusiasts of our Behind the Panels feature will see some rough drawings in addition to the usual script development and banter. The new drawing tablet has let me whip off rough sketches that aid in the development process. It's good stuff.

Sketchy, but in a good way.

Comic New Scanner + New Tablet = New Comics

Posted March 5, 2008 at 1:00 PM by Threeboy in Comic
ImageSo we're finally back from our "mini hiatus," did you miss us? Well you must have since email delivery subscribers have tripled (it went from 10 people to 30 people, heh).

The new comics (1, 2) are a two part series titled Beer Math! We're not trying to tread on xkcd with the math jokes or anything but we can bust out the nerdy stuff once in a while too y'know If math jokes aren't your thing, don't worry we'll be returning to our "regular" humor in the next strip. Seriously though, what's "regular" for us?

Comic No Scanner / No Comics

Posted February 24, 2008 at 2:19 PM by Threeboy in Comic
So I traded my scanner for a bottle of wine. Do not worry, I have another scanner on the way. I needed to get a new one because my computer is 64-bit and my old scanner didn't work with it because 64-bit computers are dumb.

Also this is sweet.

Just keepin y'all up to date on why there are no comics

Comic No Paper / No Comics

Posted February 21, 2008 at 5:40 PM by Threeboy in Comic
I managed to run out of paper.

It looks like the supply god doesn't want me to finish these goddamn comics. I'll release them as soon as they're done - sign up for the free email delivery and you'll get them via the emails.

Out of paper? I wish I were kidding.

Comic Double Update Tomorrow and New Gear!

Posted February 20, 2008 at 6:16 PM by Threeboy in Comic
Yesterday's comic is being delayed (read my previous blog post) and will be released with tomorrows comic in a double update. The subject matter will be beer. Yes, we're constantly treading into new territory here at TrueNuff

Since I'm in a spending frenzy, from moving, I decided to toss more financial strain on the pile by ordering a Wacom tablet. Hopefully you'll see some cleaner line work in the upcoming comics! It's supposed to arrive in 3-5 days so I'm pretty stoked.

Money can't buy me love but it can get me new gear... to make love to.
