We're going to be vulcan mind-melding all our Facebook profiles into one unified profile with enough power to destroy entire galaxies. Okay not really - but we are merging our Facebook profiles where we will post any new videos, comics, blogs, and podcasts along with other fun stuff like #boozenews. Easier for us to update, easier for you to follow.
Apologies in advance for any annoying messages from Facebook you get - please bear with us.
I'm sick of having a closet full of t-shirts that don't sell so they are all on sale for the low price of $4.99 for the next few weeks. If there are any shirts left over after that I will set them on fucking fire or probably donate them.
It took us long enough but we finally retired our derpy store in favor of a nice, shiny, new Store Envy powered shop! What’s Store Envy you say? It’s a cool marketplace targeted towards, broke, independant artists (such as ourselves).
The new shop is easier to browse, works on mobile devices, and most importantly it’s easier for us to add new items! There’s a few new items (prints anyone?), we put a bunch of stuff on sale and we even dug some classic shirts.
Long time reader/watcher and all around cool dude Snuffy kindly hosted me on Season 2: Episode 1 of the Hat Trick Podcast! If you like the episode you can listen to all their episodes at their SoundCloud or iTunes if that's your thing.
...and if you like my sweet, sweet (and erratic) voice you can listen to TrueNuff Radio.
Fifteen years ago (shit!) a couple dudes tried to make some comic strips for their university newsletter and the newsletter got canceled so they decided to put the comics on the internet instead. They threw together a website with a countdown clock and on February 28, 2001 the first comic was posted.
The TrueNuff Comic countdown image - you'll have to imagine the clock part.
TrueNuff.tv also turns 10 years old this year (goddamn!). I'm not sure of the exact date but I do vaguely remember our teaser trailer said "2006" at the end of it. Back then we were uploading low resolution videos to the website Revver (which is now dead) because they paid money to content producers before YouTube started their "partner program".
Last weekend the TrueNuff.tv crew gathered at Jeff's apartment to recorded the "bumpers" (the intro and outro parts) for the 2014 blooper reel. Most of the dudes went home but Jeff & I decided to keep the creative energy (and drinking) going and spontaneously recorded a podcast. The first episode(s) and all future episodes will be at www.truenuffradio.com if you're interested.
We are doing Movember again this year! If you don't know what that is it’s a charity event where people grow mustaches to raise awareness and donations for cancer & mental health research. This year from TrueNuff we have Moze, The Rob and myself participating but J.Rai is hanging up the gloves mustache this year.
If you're growing a mo' this year we encourage you to register at the Movember page and join one of our teams above. Also you want to be a captain of an international TrueNuff team (other than USA or Canada) please let us know and we'll try to set it up. If you can’t donate for whatever reason sharing the above links with some friends is also cool.
We've managed to raise over a thousand bucks in 2012 and 2013 so let’s see if we can at least match that again this year!
