Christmas Begins

TN Comic: Christmas Begins

Posted December 11, 2007 at 1:07 PM by Threeboy
ImageThis year's TrueNuff Comic Christmas story has kicked off - what happened to Jay? comedy that's what! More on that as the story unfolds...

Taking a trip down memory lane it seems that in 7 years we haven't done an actual Christmas story. In 2003 we did 23 single panel Christmas comics for December and that was great fun but it wasn't really a cohesive story from start to end. It seems that holes in our development, our spotty updating/writing and other time consuming life stuff didn't allow us to be focused enough to plan Christmas stories with any regularly.

Well, we done change all that and now we regularly meet every two weeks to write and develop the comic - so we should (in theory) be able to do a Christmas story for y'all every year

Doin' our best to keep the holidays happy.

I don't think its ever sunk in that there wasn't a Christmas story line, or maybe I've always been to distracted by the Halloween storylines instead. I still remember the 2003 run of panellers. My gosh I'm old! lol

Ah yeah, Slaine ol' buddy. I remember the winter of ought-three. It was a particularly cold one, I remember because my rickets were actin' up.

I remember Jeff not being there!

Even with Halloween there's only been a couple REAL Halloween stories - we're re-focused now though so expect one every year

Was there ever a plan to make the 1 panel ones into Christmas cards? I think I remember talk of it, but not positive.
Threeboy commented on December 11, 2007 at 5:16 PM
There were plans, or e-cards even - but not enough time this year. Maybe something for next year
